Shake the crankshaft to supply oil to the fuel injection pump. If the fuel injection nozzle emits a crisp sound, it indicates that the performance of the plunger pair and fuel injection nozzle is still good; If there is no abnormal sound inside the gear compartment, it indicates that the wear of the gear is not severe.

 

Shake the flywheel up and down, if there is no sound or obvious shaking, it indicates that the clearance between the crankshaft main journal and the bearing shell is not large; If there is no clicking sound when rotating the flywheel, it indicates that the wear between the crankshaft connecting rod journal and connecting rod bearing is not severe.

 

Depressurize the cylinder and rotate the crankshaft. When decompressing, if the rebound force of the piston is large, the flywheel rotates rapidly, indicating that the wear level of the cylinder liner, piston and piston ring is small. At this point, the reading of the oil pressure gauge should not be less than 1 or the red float indicating oil pressure can quickly rise, and manual pressure on the float should be laborious.

 

Starting a diesel engine is relatively easy, with colorless or light gray exhaust, stable speed, and no noise, indicating that the diesel engine is in good technical condition.
